Jon Schroeder is a Founding and Managing Partner at Tree Line Capital Partners and is a member of the Investment Committee and Board of Directors. Jon is responsible for leading the day to day strategy of the firm.  He allocates his time across deal sourcing, underwriting, asset management and investor relations.

Jon has been focused on direct lending strategies since 2003 having invested several billion across first lien, second lien, mezzanine and equity products.  Jon began his career in GE Capital’s Financial Management Program, and later joined GE Antares where he built a foundation of strong credit fundamentals.  Jon has combined his credit experience with entrepreneurship having worked at two direct lending start-ups following GE Capital.  He co-founded Tree Line to deliver investors access to a network of  lower middle-market relationships that he and his partners have cultivated over almost 20 years.  Jon remains an active member of the Investment Committee at Tree Line continuing to meet with borrowers, sponsors and lenders on a regular basis.
